Dr. George Varghese is one of the leading ENT surgeons in Cochin. Apart from having worked formerly as Assistant Professor, & Head of ENT Unit III, Kasturba Medical College, Manipal, India, Dr. George possesses years of complex surgical experience and rich international exposure.
Dr. George Varghese, along with general ENT surgical work, is involved extensively in performaing advanced surgeries like Stapedectomy, Cochlear Implant surgery, CSF leak repair, Endoscopic DCR, Endoscopic skull base surgeries, Endoscopic Rhinoplasty, Advanced endoscopic surgery for sinus and nasal disorders, Cosmetic Nasal Surgery, and reconstructive Plastic Surgery.Mastering laser surgery techniques at the Free University hospital in Amsterdam, in July 1998, Dr. George took part in the daily operation program in Marien Hospital, Stuttgart, Germany, under Priv.-Doz.Dr.W.Gubisch focusing extensively on Facial plastic surgery, especially nasal cosmetic surgery.
He attended the Operations at the House Ear Institute, Los Angeles, California, USA in 1999 and also underwent a post graduate course in advanced Frontal Sinus and Skull base surgery at the International Neuroscience Institute, Hannover, Germany under Prof. Wolfgang Draf in 2008.
He has to his credit 12 national and 5 international publications and is the Author of a Procedural Brochure, titled 'FUNCTIONAL ENDOSCOPIC RHINOPLASTY', for KARL STORZ, Tuttlingen, Germany, published in 2006. He has attended several Conferences and conducted numerous Courses including surgical workshops in Rhinology and Otology. An avid believer in utilizing the latest technologies and equipments for maximizing patient benefits, Dr. George has more than 2000 satisfied patients to date with word of mouth playing a major role in establishing his successful practice.
